About Us

Maya has been playing chess since she was three and is very passionate about this game. She has played in local, state, national, and international tournaments. She is also the President of her school’s chess club. As an ambitious high school student, she continues to strive to make sure that all of Endgame Education's learners are able to get the best chess tutoring experience possible. This isn’t just another organization. It is a community, helping each other to better our skill levels.

Since he was ten years old, he has been fascinated with chess, and he loves sharing with others what he finds so captivating. As a tutor, he does his best to imbue in the students he works with that same sense of intrigue. At the end of the day, chess is still just a game, designed for our own amusement. Through teaching strategy, he simultaneously tries to inspire a love for a game that never ceases to amaze.

Jake has played chess since he was in 2nd or 3rd grade. He's always thought the game of chess was fascinating and a great way to teach better decision-making. He's won many tournaments and has played thousands of chess games online. If you want to join Endgame Education, you will learn the basics of the game from him, all the way up to thinking like a chess machine. If you are his student, he will make sure your skills are strengthened and teach you how to make chess better moves.

Ryder is an 11th grade student at American Heritage School who tutors for Endgame Education at the elementary level. He was previously the Vice President of the American Heritage Chess Club and is a member of the National Honor Society, Student Government, and also participates at the national level in Speech and Debate and Robotics.

Ryan is a high school sophomore. He has been playing chess competitively at the local level since third grade. He has won several trophies playing chess, and currently has a United States Chess Federation regular rating of around 1000. He also has experience teaching chess at the Boys and Girls Club. Aside from chess, he is on his school’s Speech and Debate team and enjoys watching football. He's looking forward to meeting you!

Cassia is a high school student at American Heritage and a chess tutor for primarily beginners. She helps students build a strong foundation of the basics in chess for future study. She has studied chess for a few years throughout her education.
